Hey! You made it to the ‘About Me’ page! Well done!

So, I’m Alex, I’m 22 years old and from South Yorkshire in the UK. I decided to make this site so I can share my experiences in travelling, sustainability, and veganism, and I hope to inspire many more people to try out new things!

My main topic is going to focus on sustainability, as I’ve been practising a low impact lifestyle since 2018. Although I’m nowhere near perfect, I’m always getting better and I hope to share my journey on here! I think every step counts when it comes to being more environmentally friendly, and that why I think it’s so important to share and help people along the way.

I also love to travel, and so I hope to share some of my experiences on here whenever I go on new trips!
I’ve been lucky enough to be able to go travelling with my family since 2013 when we had our first camper van Gloria, and with our Bedlington Terrier Annie. I’ve now started to embark on my own adventures, so I hope to write about these too.

I’ve travelled all over western Europe while growing up, a section of Route 66, New York City, and most recently spending my summer over in Western Pennsylvania with Camp America!

I’ve been vegan since January 2018, mainly for environmental reasons, but I think it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Although it can be a little expensive or hard to find things while travelling, it’s becoming more popular each year and so a lot more accessible!

Although it can be a little hard to get into at first, I hope to be able to give some tips and make it easier for newcomers to try it out.

These three topics are mainly what make my world go round. Ever since I was little I’ve always loved learning about nature and the environment, and thanks to my travel obsessed parents, I’ve been able to spend my childhood exploring different countries and their cultures.

As well as all of these, I’m also a complete nerd when it comes to books, movies and tv shows! I love to escape reality, which is probably why I love to travel so much! So I hope to be able to share some pop culture based travel posts in the future!
